Project 365: Day 30 - This Pains Me

I am sick today, so we ordered take out. I took a picture of my meal, and only like one grain of rice is in focus, but hey, at least I took a picture!

Project 365: Day 29 - About to Break

This tree is right outside my gym. I wonder if I'll arrive there one day and see that it has broken.

Project 365: Day 28 - First Shiner

Don't worry, she's okay! (This shot doesn't actually show it very well, but it's the best I got from today.)

Project 365: Day 25 - Taking a Dump

My baby never ceases to amaze me. She climbed in the dump truck all by herself. (And yes, she had a dirty diaper.)

Project 365: Day 24 - Peanut Butter Cookies

I couldn't decide between this picture and the next:

I love these peanut butter cookies. They are so easy to make: one cup of peanut butter, one cup of sugar and one egg and bake at 350 for 9-11 minutes.

Project 365: Day 23 - Chips

I tried these chips for the first time; not too impressed, and I'm not too impressed by the picture either, but hey, at least I took a picture!

Project 365: Day 21 - My Daughter

I like the juxtaposition of her bracelet as she picks up a piece of bark.

Project 365: Day 20 Sunrise Cloud

This is the only picture I took today, and it was early - during the sunrise. Glad I got at least one picture taken!

Project 365: Day 18

I live in Western Washington, and we had a rare day of sun today in which we could see Mt. Rainier. The only bummer is that I had my 50 mm lens on my camera after coming from a play date and didn't have time to go back to the house to get my telephoto lens. So this image has been cropped. I hope we have another sunny day sometime in the next year so I can take a better photo.

Project 365: Day 17

I'm a day late in posting this, but I did take it on the 17th while we were at a friend's birthday party.

Project 365: Day 16 - Dessert

I did take this photo yesterday, but didn't have a chance to post it until today because we were at my husband's work party. I actually took this photo with his Droid cell phone because I didn't want to haul my big camera to the party with me. I am really pleased with how it turned out.

Project 365: Day 15 - Evening Sky

We've had dreary, rainy, grey weather forever it seems, so I was very surprised to see these colors in the evening sky. This shot is straight-from-the-camera, no post-processing.

I had taken this rainy picture earlier in the day and I like it as well, so today I'm posting two photos.

Project 365: Day 14 - Almond Coffe Toffee

These candies are delicious. They are not too sweet and have a great coffee flavor.

Project 365: Day 13 - Baby Nora

I got to meet my friend's new baby today. She's adorable and looks just like her big brother!

Project 365: Day 12 - My Laundry

Not too interesting, but my camera battery died before I could set up another shot.

Project 365: Day 10 - A Pug and His Parents

This is my brother-in-law and his wife and their baby. I did a seventies look for this photo - do you like it? Or do you like this one better?
Ahh...now that I'm looking at these pictures together, I think I like the second one, with full color, better. Decisions!

Project 365: Day 9 - Three Generations

My Mom left today to go on to California before returning to Thailand. This was my last chance to get a picture of the three of us girls, three generations, and I think it turned out well!

Project 365: Day 8 - Bad Hair Day

I don't want to use my kids as a cop out for my 365 Project, but sometimes, they are so dang cute! I was trying to put her hair in little buns, but the hair started to pop out immediately. I love the expression on her face.

Project 365: Day 6 - Baby Leg Warmers

I had a hard time getting far enough away from my baby to get proper focus (because she always has to be within a foot of me), but I really wanted a shot of her baby leg warmers and this was the best one.

Project 365: Day 5

My mom is visiting from Thailand and I realized that I haven't taken many pictures of her with my kids, so here's one from our photo shoot.

Project 365: Day 4

I took this yesterday - my mom washing the dishes for me - but I forgot to post it to my website, although I did post it to the two other photography websites I do.

Project 365: Day 3

My mother-in-law serves pork roast every time we are over for dinner. It's not my favorite. It's too dry.

Project 365: Day 1, Part 2

Okay, I'm posting two pictures today because I really like this one. I wanted to take some Christmas bokeh pictures before we put the decorations away today.

Project 365: Day 1

This year I am going to take at least one photo a day and post it here. Today's photo is a picture of the Eggs Florentine Casserole my mother and I made. The recipe is from Pioneer Woman's Cooking site, courtesy of Pastor Ryan. It was delicious, although we did make it low fat. I used Egg Beaters instead of 18 eggs, and a reduced-fat turkey sausage instead of a full fat sausage. I would also recommend squeezing out the hashbrowns once they have been sliced.
