Project 365: Day 205

July 26. I took this picture of my daughter on the day before we left for vacation. Now we're driving back from our "vacation" (July 31), and I can that this is how I feel.

Project 365: Day 204

July 25 - I took a picture, but it's on my husband's phone and I haven't downloaded it to my computer yet.

Project 365: Day 202

July 23. It was my husband's birthday, and we went out to eat and I didn't take any pictures. Unfortunately, photography has been on the back burner for awhile...

Project 365: Day 200

July 21. It's supposed to be summer, but we woke up to a foggy, cold morning.

Project 365: Day 199

July 20. Blonde brownies with Caramel Cream Cheese Frosting. Yum and yum.
(Again, I'm looking at these in the car, so there's a big glare...I hope these photos are looking okay!)

Project 365: Day 198

July 19. My daughter wanted a bath, but I wasn't ready to give her one, so she just climbed up into the sink and helped herself. This girl loves the water.

Project 365: Day 197

July 18. A petunia from my yard.

Project 365: Day 196

July 17. I killed a fly. Here it is. I couldn't get any closer for a cool macro shot. Guess I'll have to get a new lens!

Project 365: Day 195

July 16. My son and his father were having a heated pillow fight.

Project 365: Day 194

July 15
I'm editing these photos in the car, and I can't see the screen very well (smart, huh?)...so hopefully this looks okay!

Project 365: Day 193

July 14. Believe it or not, this is the waiting room at my kids' dentist. I took them to a pediatric dentist and they had a great time.

Project 365: Day 192

July 13. Gluten-free chocolate cupcakes with chocolate cream cheese frosting. These were delish! They were supposed to be filled with a peanut butter/cream cheese filling, but this was my first attempt at trying to fill cupcakes, and I got hardly any filling in them! Guess I'll have to try again!

Project 365: Day 191

July 12. Strawberry Spinach Salad. Yum. I would say I'll type up the recipe, but I can hardly keep up with the photos!

Ice cream cake

Project 365: Day 188

July 9
It was late at night by the time we got to this ice cream pie, so my orange inside lights are glowing. There's also not much time for photos when everyone's itching to get into the cake! Stay tuned for a better picture of it for day 189.

This is our view of the sunrise, around 5:30am.

This is my son's outfit for doing a jig (don't ask).

Still Taking Photos

I'm dreadfully behind in posting my photos, but I'm still taking a photo a day. I'll work on trying to get caught up today!

Day 175 - Mt. Rainier

IMG_0883-ps
Beautiful Mt. Rainier. This is the view 30 seconds from my home. We had another rare day of sun, and I tried to capture the evening sunlight on the mountain, but it was about 7:45pm at night and the sun was still high in the sky. I was too tired to go out later. Hopefully we'll get another sunny day so I can try again.

Day 174 - Sun Dress

IMG_0862
Day 174 - My little girl in her sun dress. I had my long lens on, which is why her head is cut off, but I think somehow it works.

Day 173 - Natural Highlights

IMG_0798
My girl has natural blond highlights in her hair (which boggles me, since I'm half Mexican and have black hair). I tried to capture one of the highlights here.

Day 172 - Doing the Dishes

They did this on their own!
